50th Edition of the Prêmio Exportação RS Breaks Record and Announces Winning Companies

For the first time in history, Southern Brazil's highest recognition in the segment will award 63 companies, in addition to recognizing the 2022 International Competitiveness Personality

The Prêmio Exportação RS Council will recognize 63 companies in its 50th edition, a record number in the history of the merit award. The event honors Rio Grande do Sul organizations that achieved outstanding performance on the export scene.

Considered the largest event of its segment in the country, for 50 years the Prêmio Exportação RS has distinguished companies that achieved the best market results and developed innovative strategies to showcase and commercialize their products in the international market. In total, more than 600 companies have been recognized for achieving outstanding export results across different market segments.

According to the president of the Prêmio Exportação RS Council, Fabrício Forest, the entities represented on the merit council validate the initiative's credibility and are responsible for conducting a rigorous process to select the winners. “The Export Award is close to completing 50 years of operation, and this milestone highlights the relevance of one of the main movements for strengthening the sector in Brazil. In addition to honoring, our goal is to train business leaders and share knowledge so that the export culture increasingly becomes part of organizations' strategy and planning,” Forest emphasizes.

The Prêmio Exportação RS Council is formed by leaderships from institutions that support or assist the Rio Grande do Sul export scenario. They are: ADVB/RS, Apex-Brasil, Badesul, Banco do Brasil, Banrisul, BRDE, FARSUL, Fecomércio, Federasul, FIERGS, Lide-RS, Portos RS, Sebrae-RS, Secretariat for Economic Development (Sedec), and Hub Transforma RS.
