Pisani Plásticos is pleased to announce that it has become a Certified B Corporation—meaning we have been verified by Sistema B and meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. This major step is a testament to our commitment to delivering not only high-quality products but also solutions that promote human well-being and environmental preservation. The B Certification, recognized worldwide, highlights companies that not only aim for profit but also generate a positive social and environmental impact.

B Corporations are legally committed to benefiting not just shareholders, but all business stakeholders—employees, customers, communities, and the environment. Thus, our journey toward this certification can be attributed to several practices we have adopted:

• We highlight our health and safety program, which ensures the well-being of our more than 500 employees spread across our facilities in Caxias do Sul (RS), Pindamonhangaba (SP), and Abreu e Lima (PE);

• Additionally, our environmental management systems demonstrate our commitment to sustainability, minimizing the environmental impact of our operations;

• Corporate benefits such as medical assistance, occupational safety, and profit-sharing reinforce our commitment to the team;

• Our procurement strategy focused on domestic suppliers strengthens the local economy and reduces our carbon footprint. 

Various actions across the pillars of governance—involving our employees, community, customers, and the environment—have brought positive impacts to the daily lives of our stakeholders. We will continue using the B Impact Assessment (BIA) tool to increasingly evolve our impact.
